A Trunkshow of Enduring Beauty.

Last week, braving a winter deluge & Silicon Valley morning rush hour traffic, the team at Erica Tanov unloaded trunks of their Holiday Collection into the beautiful home of art patron & community builder, Pamela Miller Hornik.

The Erica Tanov Collection, hanging near Chantal Joffe & Hung Liu’s work—like works of art themselves—looked right at home. Clothing in printed silk chiffons, tapestry-like metallics & saturated silk charmeuse told a story of opulence equal to Pamela’s art collection.

Erica Tanov Home which features baby alpaca shag pillows, cozy throws & Signature candles, provided a barrier against the elements on that wet & windy morning.

And there to provide styling direction was Erica Tanov, herself. The designer; businesswoman; and creator, behind her eponymous brand, helped to find the perfect piece for each woman’s needs.

Guests from the Peninsula, and every corner of the Bay Area shopped the event, all in support of the independent, woman-owned brand that has become synonymous with timeless, enduring beauty for more than 25 years.

Bringing the event to the Peninsula created an opportunity for new customers to meet Erica Tanov & experience her work while continuing to engage loyal customers. The unique designs & impeccable quality are apparent in every piece the brand produces.

In an era where fast fashion & drone deliveries take precedence over craft & community, it was the ultimate luxury to linger over the beautiful collection & meet women from different fields & backgrounds. It is a rare treat to run one’s hand over fabrics that had been hand-woven, in small runs & then sewn into garments that fit and move with ease, on every woman who tries them.

Erica Tanov has made a business of surrounding oneself in beauty, and the day was a perfect reflection of her best intentions.
