Design room essentials for the perfect sleeve, or shall I say envelope?

Happy to launch the full set of my art cards, packaged in oak tag with my brass logo tag—an idyllic synchronicity.

Oak tag is the beautiful & heavy, antique-looking paper on which I learned how to draft garment patterns. It seemed the perfect medium to use to create a sleeve for my cards. Architectural grade tracing paper surrounds each card, keeping each one safe until the moment you choose to send (or frame).

I love how the tracing paper and oak tag remind me of the design room staples that help to chart the course of new work. The embossed, brass logo id tag, strung on the red & white baker’s twine, can become an eventual bookmark which celebrates the pages of text on which the original watercolors were created.
