“I created these masks, working with upcycled Levi’s denim, the fabric of my life. Fabric for me, is like a time capsule, holding memories like music or photos, but with the added comforting tactile sense. Levi’s was my childhood denim doll; my first pair of jeans; my ‘borrowed’ brother’s vintage Red Tab trucker that I made my own; and on and on.
